The Challenge
The topic of solar energy seems to be very moot and social these days. The challenge was to take this water cooler conversation topic to front of mind for people who are either building, renovating or considering switching to solar energy.
The CPS website had become dated and needed a refresh too. The challenge here was to lay out the large range of products and installation options offered by CPS Solar in a way that would engage their audience and generate sales leads.
What We Did
In close consultation with CPS Solar, we drilled down on their go-forward range of products and installation options and made sure we featured them in an informative but non-technical way. To differentiate from the increasing number of players in the space, we steered away from stock imagery, instead using actual CPS product and install imagery wherever possible, sending a message of honesty and authenticity to the visitor. We also added a Free Quote tool which lead curious visitors to make contact with CPS and become leads.
In parallel to the website development, we created eye-catching social media ads and boosted posts featuring innovative new services like solar panel cleaning, new products and technology offered and milestone installations.
Noticing that CPS were installing an increasing number of hybrid solar systems with the latest technology, CPS accepted our recommendation to create a blog on the subject, add the installations to the projects web page and link them to a boosted post on Facebook.
What We Achieved
The new website served to re-launch the CPS brand in their market and gained great user feedback and response. Analytics tracked and demonstrated an increased number of enquires from the site, particularly from the Free Quote tool.
The end-to-end online marketing approach, combining a well optimised and laid out website with well thought out digital marketing campaigns, generated real leads and new sales of solar products and installations.
The future really is bright for CPS Solar.
